Portrait of Grandad Bill

This is a 2 hour 8"x10" portrait I completed this morning of my Grandad Bill. He's a fun English gentleman. I think it turned out nicely.

Emmalee that is amazing. It looks just like him. He is an awesome man isnt he. I have loved him for the first moment I met him (many years ago now). Great Job. I hope you and Jay are doing well. You need to come off the honeymoon so we can see you guys again. : )

You are an amazing painter, Emm. Love the color, the definition of planes, the edges! The hair is a little monotonous but I've gotta hand it to you for knocking it out in two hours! WOW! I met him at your wedding and you really captured his likeness. Proud to know ya!

That is amazing. I cant belive how you have caught him. He is so happy and loves it. Thank you so much. Yes he is an awesome man and an amazing father. He was a hands on father that would sit and play barbie dolls with me and do all the girls stuff that some dads just wont do. Hes also an amazing grandfather and soon to be great grandfather.

It would be cool if you did one of Ralph's dad. He's a gentlemen of sorts too. : )

Emmalee, your work gets better with each painting. Fantastic work. Two hours eh? I'd have finished the pencil work in that time. Way to go!
